COVID-19 Safety Plan

Covid-19 self assessment toolCovid-19 symptoms

These are the new procedures post pandemic. These following guidelines have been developed in accordance to the BCCDC (BC Center of Disease Control) and CCBC (College of Chiropractors of BC).

Physical Distance

To ensure physical distance between patients, there will be less people scheduled to avoid any overlap of waiting time in the waiting room. Please show up at your scheduled time. If you’re here early, please wait in your car or outside. Please come alone unless you need assistance.

Covid-19 screening before appointment

I will call you 5 minutes before your appointment time to do a quick screening. If you experience any symptoms of Covid-19, have been in contact with somebody that is currently suffering from Covid-19 or have been travelling within the last 14 days, please cancel your appointment.

Personal protective equipment

It is now mandatory to wear a mask. At this point cloth masks and non-medical grade masks are sufficient.

Please don’t wear any gloves in the office.

Hand hygiene

Upon entering the house, please wash your hands first and again, when leaving the treatment room. There will be no other patients present and the doors will be left open during your appointment.

Payment is ideally done by tap or e-transfer but can be done by my POS machine as well.

I will switch everybody to email receipts, if possible.

Enhanced cleaning

In between each patient the treatment area, any surface areas, as well as frequent touch points are cleaned with disinfectant. The books, magazines, kids toys, and water cooler have been removed.

As we go along with Phase 2, the requirements may change.

If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward in our new normal.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Trust that I recognize the importance of your health care appointments and appreciate your understanding as we navigate this unprecedented and challenging situation together.

Best regards,

Dr. Petra Rutz
